Description
This pattern includes both options - the original PDF pattern by KnittyBae and a converted interactive version, so you can choose the format that works best for you!

Presenting a knitting pattern for the Four Seasons Sweater by Knittybae. Pattern with endless possibilities to make the sweater of your dreams. It's made in one piece, without seaming required. To make this pattern, you can use any yarn weight with 12 mm knitting needles to create either a open knit summer mesh sweater or a chunky winter sweater.

It's a beginner friendly, made to measure pattern that's easy to customize to your preferred fit. You can adjust the sizing as you go to suit your measurements, and the pattern also includes two neckline options: a boat neck or a V-neck, so you can choose the style you like best.

This pattern is provided in English. This document spans 18 pages and includes instructive images to further help you pursuit your goal result.
Recommended Skill Level: Advanced Beginner and above.
Pattern uses following crochet stitches: st st (stockinette stitch), M1L and M1R (optional for V-neck).

CONSTRUCTION OF THE SWEATER

The Four Seasons Sweater is worked from the top-down and constructed in sections that are later joined together. You'll begin by casting on stitches for the back yoke and working the back body piece first, creating openings for the sleeves as you go, then placing the back section on hold. Next, stitches are picked up from the back yoke to shape the front piece and form the neckline, which can be worked as either a boat neck or a V-neck, while also leaving space for the sleeves at the front.

After both front and back sections are complete and the sleeve openings are large enough, they're joined together and the sweater is worked in the round until the desired body length is reached. The sleeve stitches are then picked up directly from the created openings and worked in the round until the preferred sleeve length is achieved.

YARN RECOMMENDATIONS

- You can use any yarn of your choice, such as cotton, wool or acrylic,
- You can combine 2 or 3 strands of different weight yarns to create your unique look for this sweater,
- For a Mesh sweater, I recommend using yarn in a weight up to Light (no. 3) to achieve an open, airy look in the stitches,
- For a Chunky sweater with closed stitches and extra warmth, I recommend using Bulky (no. 5) or Super Bulky (no. 6) yarn,
- To ensure it works well with the 12 mm knitting needles used in this design, I recommend using a yarn no heavier than Bulky (no. 5) or Super Bulky (no. 6) weight when working with a single strand.

e.g. For winter chunky sample sweater I've used single strand of yarn: Bulky (no. 5). I've used Melissa Ribbon in shade 11 (in total approx. 550 m). For summer mesh sample sweater I've used single strand of yarn: Fine (no. 2). I've used Rosários4 Invicta in shade 37. (in total approx. 550 m).
