This pattern evolved as I made it! The mouth was the biggest test and the ones that are shown in the pictures are not necessarily the ones that ended up in the pattern. I needed to find the best way to form the mouth so that the candy was able to be easily dispensed without it easily falling out! The directions in the final pattern accomplish just this. The pattern is also worked with double yarn threads so that no additional materials are necessary to reinforce the walls of the bowls. They are sturdy enough to stand up on their own - especially when they are filled with chocolate goodness! Scars and leaves can be added or removed as you wish.
