Not your granny's string of pearls. A clever crochet jewelry set that uses bobbles crocheted along a chain to imitate pearls. The necklace is long enough to wind around your neck twice and doesn't require any findings; the earrings just need two earring wires.
I made my French Pearls in soft fuzzy mohair, but seriously, you can use just about any yarn (I'm raiding my stash for a slinky ribbon tape next), so this is a great pattern for scraps and leftovers.
Easy enough for a beginner, you can complete the set in minutes, perfect for a last minute gift.
