This elegant towel, and its accompanying washcloth, knit in soft, worsted-weight cotton, can play a myriad of roles in your home: work it up as a guest towel, fingertip towel, hand towel, tea towel, placemat, or table runner. The diamond pattern is worked with eyelets, surrounded by a seed stitch border.

This towel and washcloth look best in a solid color, but could also be knit in a yarn with long color changes. Try a mercerized cotton for a shinier finish.
