This absolutely adorable frog bookmark pattern gives a cottagecore aesthetic to your reading!

The frog is made like an amigurumi, and then a chain string and tassel are added to make it a bookmark.

There is no gauge to this pattern, but the finished frog is about 3/4 inch tall and the string is about 10 inches long. The string size is entirely customizable, so you can make it as long or short as you want.

This pattern requires knowledge of magic loops, chaining, single crochet, and half double crochet stitches. It is worked in continuous rounds. It is beginner-friendly, but working with crochet thread and small hooks can be difficult for beginners, so keep that in mind if you're new to using crochet thread.

You'll need a 2mm crochet hook and about 10 yards of green size 10 crochet thread, 1 yard of black size 3 crochet thread, and 2 black seed beads (I use 6/0 size). You'll also need a needle (I use a sharp embroidery needle, not a yarn needle) to weave the ends in, poly-fil or other stuffing to fill the frog, and scissors.
