This Frog comes with a story.
A couple of years ago, I was attempting to write a pattern for a small frog plushie; the result was pretty wonky and misshapen, so I decided I would just rework the pattern later and named this first, "wrong" version "Frog of Mistake".
So this strange, wonky Frog joined my other plushies on my shelf, and I thought it'd just be a funny plushie to show friends and tell them how hilariously I had failed in my intent to make a frog.
And yet...
There is just something about this Frog, an unexplainable charisma that makes it irresistibly cute. I had friends asking me to show them the Frog of Mistake, and it became an icon in The Yarn Zoo's Crocheting Universe. It's a lucky charm now, a reminder that mistakes in crochet are not bad: they teach us how to become better and better, so we shouldn't be ashamed of making them!
So, I proudly present to you: The Frog of Mistake.
