Description
I've always loved fuschia flowers. I think they look like little fairies. We used to have a nice fuschia plant in the backyard and I was sad when it dried up. This pattern has been in the making for a long time. I've been picturing the crochet version in my head for years and I was finally able to make it come true. I've included a photo of the different parts of the fuschia flower for reference.
This fuchsia fairy can be made as a stuffed toy or lovey style with an unstuffed body. With the lovey style, only the head is stuffed, so it needs to be closed before continuing the body. There is also an option to add arms. Please read over the entire pattern before starting. This pattern will mostly be worked in the round except where indicated. Please use a stitch marker to keep track of your rounds.
I want to thank my friend and fellow designer, Christine Melvin (Womanwalkingawire on socials). I really appreciate her support in testing and improving this design. She was so excited about it and it's the best feeling to have friends cheering you on! Thank you, Christine!
