Description
Furbys are interactive robot toys from 1998 that have bird and cat-like characteristics. This crochet version is not robotic but is a lot of fun to create. There are many ways to customize this furby to your preferences. You can give your furby a belly patch of a different color than it's body, or a face plate around its eyes. There are 4 different ways to make the hair tufts: pompoms, brushed pompoms- made using a pet brush, and faux fur yarn with the options of a mane/mohawk or head and tail tufts.

I recommend using chunky weight 5 or 6 chenille yarn because it mimics the fur of real furbys. It can also be made in worsted weight 4 yarn and most other types of yarn.

You can sell the Furbys you make if you credit me as the designer. If you would like to share your creations with me you can write a review or tag me on my Instagram which is @katiecraftycat_art
