Description
This is an intermediate moth pattern that uses a base yarn and a fuzzy yarn. Plushies can vary in size depending on the yarn you use. The example images suggest a size 5 weighted yarn (this is the yellow or blue one shown in the example images) for the smaller moth size and a size 6 weighted yarn to get the larger white moth shown in the images. There is a small guide about yarn sizes compared to fuzzy yarn sizes in the instructions. I made sure there are plenty of example images included with the instructions to make everything as easy as possible to follow.
Materials:
Size 5 Yarn (Example is Bernat Velvet in Golden Moss)
Size 5 Fuzzy Yarn (Example is Yarn Bee Snuggle Up in Black)
5 mm Hook (H)
Tapestry Needle
Scissors
Stitch Marker
20 mm Safety Eyes (or whatever size works the best for you)
Pink Yarn for Blush
Poly-Fil
This pattern is worked in the round (except for wings) so there is no slip stitch at the beginning of rounds. This pattern uses an invisible decrease as well.
This is my original pattern, so please do not copy any part of it and sell it as your own. Reselling is also a no for me. That's just rude. You can sell whatever you make with this pattern. Please just try to tag me if you post your finished pieces. I'd love to see them.
