The girl's best friend shawl was named because of the design the filet crochet pattern makes. If you've been around for a minute you know the popular saying "Diamonds are a girl's best friend" and this beautiful Valentine's day inspired shawl has a filet crochet design of some simple but elegant diamonds in it.
This shawl/wrap is easily a 1 skein project using the redheart ombre yarn which I love because of the gradient effect it has on this pattern, but you can use whatever #4 yarn you wish for this pattern.
this pattern includes a chart to help if you like to read charts as well as the written instructions to go along.
you can easily change the size of this pattern just by adding another repeat just remember your yarn yardage when doing so.
