PATTERN NOTES
The Igbo crochet pattern is a combination of colours that makes the eyes do a little
dance.
It is a perfect addition in your closet for fall outfits. Fall does not need to be boring!
This crochet dress in the pictures is meant for an average adult female size
medium (waist size28") to waist size 30'. However, instructions for other sizes are
in the pattern below
The pattern has sizing instructions for sizes x small small, medium, large and x
large.
This granny squares pattern is mainly double crochet stitches in clusters.
The granny square motif is worked in circles or worked around.
The turning chain counts as a stitch thus; the first ch 3 plus the first 2 dc counts as
the first 3 dccl.
To join the a different colored yarn, make a slip knot and place your hook where the
fastening chain 1 from the previous round ended, pull the yarn through the hook and
ch 3 (the ch 3 counts as the first dc) then pull the tail of the other yarn to tighten,
then turn your work.
This dress is made in: 32 granny squares joined diagonally.
The yarn used is light weight, I used double strands to increase the yarn weight.
Refer to the abbreviations table in case of abbreviations not understood.
