Description
Welcome to my hanging monkeys! This was a custom pattern for @FamiLYPaws. The monkeys are based off of a tattoo of her 2 children. The tattoo depicts 2 monkeys connected by their tails with one of the monkeys hanging upside-down (see above in the cover photos).
There are instructions for 2 different monkeys in this pattern, one upright and one upside down. Choose which one you want to make from the drop-down menu in the sizing section in the intro. For the upright monkey, there is sewing of the arms, legs, and tail to the body as well as sewing on ears to the head. For the upside-down monkey, there is sewing of the head, arms, legs, and tail to the body as well as sewing on ears to the head. Instruction for a bow is included if making a girl monkey. Hair is crocheted on. Overall, the sewing is fairly easy!
You will need some wire for the tail(s) that is strong enough to allow them to hang on something or each other if you make 2. You can also choose to just stuff the tail(s).
Feel free to sell any physical product made from this pattern, but please do not sell the pattern.
