This pattern is great for beginners, it has ne sewing parts, the plant hanger and straps are made all in one.
I used chunky yarn but you can use different types with a suitable hook. Crocheted plant holder is fairly stretchy, so can be used for different sizes of plant pots, mine were about 6 to 10 cm in diameter.
