I made a few of these little hearts for my friends, for Valentine's Day. I really enjoyed making these, and the outcome is amazing! They were all very quick to make, only took me about 30 minutes per heart. I definitely recommend this pattern! I used a 2.5 mm crochet hook with weight 4 acrylic yarn in the colors red, white, and pink.

The pattern was simple and easy to follow but I don't really like the way it had came out. I tried shaping it to look more like a heart but that's okay.

My brother-in-law approached me with a special request for Valentine's Day - he asked if I could crochet a heart for his wife, my sister-in-law. I happily agreed and diligently followed the instructions for making the heart, but I decided to add a little twist. Halfway through the process, I stopped to surface crochet the initials onto the heart, making it a personal touch that I was sure would make the gift even more special for my sister-in-law.
