Pattern Notes
This pattern is perfect for beginners and is worked in continuous rounds. You only need to know a few basic stitches: single crochet (sc), double crochet (dc), and foundation single crochet (FSC). Don't worry I include a clear explanation of how to work the foundation single crochet stitch in the instructions. If you already have elastics or scrunchies you prefer, you can use those instead!
Yarn Recommendation
For the best results, use chenille or plush yarn made from acrylic or polyester. These fibers are soft, flexible, and comfortable to sleep in. They also hold their shape well when used on lightly damp hair.
Avoid cotton yarn, as it absorbs too much water and can stretch or stay damp for longer.
Care Instructions
Hand wash gently in cool water.
Use only a tiny amount of mild detergent if needed.
Squeeze gently do not wring to remove excess water.
Lay flat on a towel and let it air dry completely.
Hair Use Tip
For best curling results, use on slightly damp (not soaking wet) hair and allow the rod to fully dry between uses.
