Description
Hello Hannah Hat was designed as a gift for my sister. Her birthday in June is often cold and miserable in the Southern Hemisphere, and the hope is the hat knit in aran weight wool will keep her warm, and the fun texture will brighten her day.
The hat has a double brim for extra warmth around the ears and the provisional cast of leaves a stretchy brim unconstrained by a cast on edge.
The 12 round stitch pattern has a 6 stitch repeat with an easy rhythm to work. The floats from the slipped stitches are picked up and knit into stitches several rows above, forming the diamond angle.
I would love to see your finished hats so please postyour projects, or tag in Instagram #waratahlife or follow @waratahlife.
