Say hello to Henrietta the Hen. Henrietta is such a mother hen! She spends most of her day flapping about protecting her egg and chick, there isn't anything she wouldn't do for them. The rest of the time you can find her sitting keeping them warm while she tells them wonderful stories about life on the farm.

The egg and chick are reversible so your cute little chick can hatch out of its egg, for endless hatching fun!

This is an intermediate level pattern, some crochet knowledge is required. Not recommended for complete beginners, but the pattern does include detailed step by step instructions and pictures to help you.

Using the materials suggested this hen measures 17cm, and the chick measures 7cm. Any yarn can be used with this pattern with an appropriate size crochet hook to create a tight tension, although other yarns may affect the size of the finished toy. Suggested materials: DK (Light 3) 100% cotton yarn, 3mm crochet hook, 6 and 8mm safety eyes and toy stuffing.
