Here is my Christmas New Years special pattern! this pattern includes a small chicken princess ballerina plushie and a large red, yellow, green and white drawstring bag to hold the chicken in! This pattern is beginner friendly. You can change the amount of ruffles in your chicken's scrunchie tutu. On a stage set in a pasture, a young pullet spoke: "As the sun sets, it swallows the grassy emerald hills with its blinding light. Colors of flame and vibrance shine over the fields of mustard and switchgrass. As the time passes, the fiery sky turns to a deep, calming blue as the night approaches. The world darkens as the stars fill the night sky. Each star is perfectly placed, there is not one out of balance. The trees sway in the breeze. Each moment of the sunset is like a satisfying breath. The large silver moon rises and fills the night sky with the most beautiful light. The moon is a symbol of the night. It guides and directs with light." Applause was heard throughout the set. The pullet flapped off the stage and walked behind the stage. She was greeted by one of her friends, a young rooster as she walked. "Holly, that was amazing! You did so well." "Thank you Rocky. I have to say, the speech really captured the scenery." Rocky glanced up at the sky. The sun had started to set subtly over the pasture. Another chicken went on the stage and started to speak. "Looks like Amaranth is up. I think she is the last to speak." Rocky checked a piece of paper and nodded. Holly spoke. "I'm going to go to the watering hole to get some water, would you like to come with me?" "Sure"
On the way to the watering hole, a faint white glow in the distance caught Holly's eyes. "What is that Rocky?" Holly pointed towards the glow. Rocky squinted. "I think that is Zi and Rui. They are my friends from my hunting squad. Zi has a very shiny amulet that he never wants to take off. He says it helps with attracting the ladies. Come on Holly, we must go and say hi."
Holly smiled and rolled her eyes. Rocky had started running towards Zi and Rui. Holly took off after him. Rocky was shouting "Zi, Rui. It's me, Rocky." Rocky's friends leaped in the air toward Rocky. Rocky fell over.
Holly glanced at Rui. He looked a bit different from an ordinary rooster. He had bright amber scaly bits in some places and his wings were larger than normal. He also had arms. They were like a Gryphon's arms. His legs were very scaly. He was also quite larger than Rocky, at least twice his size. His tail was elongated and had a very fluffy tip with scales randomly under his brown feathers. His face was at least a normal rooster head but he had 2 long ram shaped horns protruding from his head.
Zi looked almost the same as Rui but with antlers instead of ram horns. Zi also had less amber scales and darker brown feathers. Zi's amulet swayed as he jumped at Rocky. The amulet felt familiar to Holly, almost as if she had owned it before. Rui sprung back off of Rocky "Ziyuhiv, why don't you show this pretty little lady your amulet." Rui said with a smirk. "Sure thing Ruiroue." Zi waved the amulet in front of Holly. "If you start to feel sleepy, then your nightmare becomes a reality." "This is not working, Zi. The amulet faded to a deep red. Rocky stood up. "Zi what are you doing? You know this amulet is just a cheap piece of scrap." As he was saying this, Holly fainted. "See it works. I always do this to the ladies. They beg me for help in their sleep. All I have to do is wave it again in front of their face and they wake up."
There was silence for a moment. The three boys stared at Holly. Her leg twitched, indicating that she was unconscious. Rui looked at Zi. "Are you sure that this thing is safe, I mean she has been like this for at least five minutes." Zi smiled sarcastically. "Heh heh I don't know. I've only ever tried this on Cynder." Rui raised his eyebrow. "So you are saying that you have only ever tried this on your female friend. What happened to her?" "Well I know that she woke up after I shook her awake. She said that she was the daughter of a warchief and she was very rich and strong." Rocky looked confused "Zi, isn't she already the daughter of Bloodfeather. He is technically the king of the southern bird tribes. So that makes him a warchief. You said that this amulet shows you your worst nightmares. I don't think that is Cynder's nightmare." Rui grabbed Zi's Amulet. "That's true. It's not Cynder's nightmare. Her nightmare is what was it again?" "fluffy unicorns and unigoats suffocating her."
"That is really interesting. The amulet probably shows you your life but it's slightly different. We just have to wait until Holly wakes up."
Holly was suddenly on an ornate balcony. She had a golden crown and a bright pink and purple tutu. She looked down and saw a crowd of chickens. There were some birds like Zi and Rui. Most of the chickens in the crowd had horns. But not arms. Some had arms and some were just like normal chickens. Holly turned around. "This is not real This is not real" A shadow came in front of her. She looked up and saw an older bird. He had a large red and white cape with a golden crown. Jewelry covered his talons and tail. "Fatheryou are alive!"
"Yes I am Holly. I never died." Holly took a breath. "But that is impossible. I saw you with my own eyes getting tossed into the flames. By those angry soldiers." Holly's father smiled. "I survived." Holly's eyes started to tear up. "It is really youFather."
"Come now holly, we have the kingdom to talk to." Holly's father led her to the balcony. He spread his wings. He flapped them once. Trumpets were blown and the sky seemed to glow with the noise of the trumpets. Holly's Father took in a breath. "Citizens of Szarvaea. I come to welcome you. Princess Holly Featherstone." A familiar voice spoke. "Holly. Holly Holly!"
Holly opened her eyes. She looked around. The three boys were standing right in front of her. "Father Where are you?" She then started to cry. "I saw my father Rocky. He was alive." Rocky hugged Holly. "I'm so sorry, Hol." Holly was bawling. Rocky shot a look at Zi. "Sereously Zi. You could have told me about this." "I did not know that it would show Holly her father." "You know how sensitive she is about him, Zi."
Holly stood up. "I'm going to the watering hole now." Tears were still running down her face. Rocky followed her. "You think I overdone it Ruiroue." "Yup. C'mon Ziyuhiv. We better follow them. Zi dropped his amulet and left it.
The two Scalefeathers followed the chickens. The amulet faded to white from red. A bright red serpent crawled out from the amulet and flicked its tongue. It started to slither towards the watering hole
