Description

Homesteader (noun): Someone who strives to live frugally or self-sufficiently.

Big city, small town, or miles from nowhere- how do you homestead? This fun slip stitch pattern adds a extra warmth to chore time and it reminds me of the rail fence we built around our cabin. My husband dug every post-hole by hand!

"Now he that planteth and he that watereth are one: and every man shall receive his own reward according to his own labour. For we are laborers together with God ye are God's husbandry, ye are God's building."
1 Corinthians 3:8-9

It doesn't matter if you are building a fence, gardening, milking the cow or just making it to the grocery store to gather supplies to make dinner for your family. You are doing it. The best part is, we get to do it "together with God". I think it's good to remember that we are not alone in our labour, and that "every. man shall receive his own reward according to his own labour". The blessings are coming, the help is here.
We are Homesteaders.
Happy Knitting!
