Description
ABOUT
This unique, eye-catching top is bound to be one of your favorite creations! It's made using worsted weight yarn, is filled with the beloved linen stitch, and has easy row by row color changes, making it a quick and enjoyable project. Another thing I love about this top is that it's worked from the top down and in joined rounds so you totally get to try it on as you go!

And even though the pattern is rated intermediate, I'm POSITIVE anyone could make it! The pdf offers a color chart, easy to follow row by row instructions, example photos, stitch charts, tips, and diagrams so there's no confusion.

OPTIONS
There are instructions on how to make fitted short, 3/4, or full length sleeves, as well as, tips for cropping or elongating the body. Which means you can make a cotton, short sleeved, cropped one for spring and a wool, full length one for winter! (That's what I did!)

Not to mention the color options. The original design uses a total of 3 colors, however, you could have as little as 1 color for a basic, solid sweater or as many as 13 colors! Just let your imagination (and yarn stash) run wild with this one, guys.

BEHIND THE NAME
Pronounced: huh-mall-uh-vee

"Homolovi" is Hopi for "Place of the Little Hills"

Back in 2015, my husband, Kyle, and I were lucky enough to explore Homolovi State Park in Arizona. The park is located just east of Flagstaff off of I-40 and informs visitors about the history of the land and the people who live/lived there. It also offers walking trails that take you up close to ruins and around twin buttes with petroglyphs. What I found most incredible though was the pottery. Original shattered pieces were scattered everywhere! Most of the pieces were brown with some sort of red or black lines on them and that is where my inspiration for this design came from!
