Description
This pattern combines my two favorite crafts: traditional crochet and Tunisian crochet!
Honeycomb Baby Blanket gets its name for the Tunisian honeycomb stitch. Using this stitch, we will create 16 squares, which will then be joined together to form a blanket.
Although the pattern is pretty straight-forward, it is rated as advanced beginner/intermediate because you need to know the basics of Tunisian crochet since the majority of the pattern is Tunisian crochet. Also, you need to be comfortable in the area of crochet since the pattern calls for a bit different square joining technique and the blanket border uses a not so everyday stitch.
If you wish to make a bigger blanket, simply crochet more squares or make your squares larger. However, bear in mind that you'll then require more yarn than indicated here in the pattern.
Have fun making your own baby blanket! :)
