Description
Crochet a horned hat for the extreme football fan in your life. Use your team's colors for a truly personalized gift.
Skill level: Intermediate - The hat is pretty simple to make; the only challenging part is changing colors on the 2-tone hat. At the beginning of each color change, I measure out enough yarn of that color to run along the top of the previous row before pulling up loop on hook. This way, you're working over the same color yarn rather than having red yarn showing through blue stiches or vice versa. Once you get the hang of this, though, it's pretty simple.

* Worsted worsted weight yarn - 1 skein MC, small amounts CC
* Size H & I crochet hooks
* Small amount of Fiberfil
* Yarn needle
