Description
Description
This pattern will help you crochet your own 'This House Is Not A Home' bag (House bag for short).
The pattern is perfect for advanced beginners crocheters who are familiar with single, half double and slip stitch, decreasing, tapestry crochet with multiple colours and, ideally, intarsia crochet. Progress pictures to help you on your way are included, as well as two graph patterns (front and back) and written instructions.
This bag is made up of two panels (front and back) and two straps. When joining the panels, you can choose between a contrasting stitch or an invisible stitch. Adding window panels is optional.
Materials needed:
Yarn: I used DROPS Paris (10 ply / aran / worsted) seven different colours
A 5mm crochet hook
Optional: an 8mm crochet hook (if you opt for a triple strand contrasting stitch)
A tapestry needle to weave in the ends
Scissors
If you post pics of your bag on any social channel (instagram, tiktok, etc.), please tag me - my handle is @devout_hand. Even if you don't post your pics, I'd still love to see them <3
