These scrubbies are made in two halves that are crocheted separately and then slip stitched together to form a thick and durable scrubby. The one side is smooth, while the other side has spoke like ridges emanating from the center, that made me think of wheels and hubcaps, hence the Hubcap Dish Scrubby! The ridges help provide additional scrubbing action.
