Inspired by a tour of the Scottish Highlands, especially the furnishings and view from a 2 day stay in a cabin next to a loch on the Isle of Skye. The tartan effect is created from horizontal stripes of double crochet with vertical stripes of cross stitch and finished with surface slip stitching.
