My two year old daughter requested "sock mittens" for her birthday and so "Ittsy Mittsy" came into being.
Ittsy Mittsy is the perfect afternoon project. It works up very quickly and uses about 20g of fingering weight yarn, ideal for a mini skein. Fingerless mitts are great for keeping little hands warm, but leaves fingers free for exploring.
