The techniques used in this design:

There is a zipper. If you're new to zippers, I would recommend trying out the technique before using your beautiful chosen fabric. You can either chose to go with an invisible zipper (which I did here) or a regular one, depending on the look you want. There are different kinds of pleats, the center pleats and the shoulder pleats, on the front and on the back. And the crotch might be intimidating but only if you never worked on pants.

There are a few pieces. The front, the back, the sleeve, the collar facing and the pocket.
