Description
This jar is a perfect addition to a play dish set, as a role play prop, or for display. It also makes a fantastic little vase for tiny flowers.
This pattern is a part of my Holy Week Countdown Set for Easter. It will be sold as an individual pattern or at a discount when bundled.
The Jar represents Wednesday. On the Wednesday before his death, Jesus was in Bethany, in the house of Simon the Leper. As he sat at the supper table with his disciples, a woman anointed Jesus' head and feet with a costly oil of spikenard. See Wikipedia for Holy Wednesday, Matthew 26:6-13, Mark 14:3-9, and John 12:3-8.
This pattern that includes instructions for both left-handed and right-handed crocheters!
You can also choose to leave the Jar empty or have it stuffed.
