Description
Recommended for intermediate/advanced crocheters or beginners seeking a challenge.
Written pattern plus visual references. This pattern was designed using four balls of Mainstays Chunky Chenille and a 15mm hook. Because I really wanted to make a big candy cane pillow for decor! But feel free to try it out in any yarn. It'll just be smaller with thinner yarn.
The stitches aren't difficult. You just need to be able to keep track of four working ends, and switching between them. The purpose of this method is to create a continuous spiral of each color up the candy cane, no visible color changes. Kinda like a real candy cane!
You'll also need to follow instructions for shaping the curve, being able to adjust stitch placement if your tension or slant differs from mine. And if using the same materials as me, it gets big!
