Hey everyone and welcome to The Kids Textured Hexi! A great way of using up some aran yarn scraps. This cardigan is made up from 2 hexagons. It uses fpdc for some added texture and depth. You can either follow the pattern using aran/worsted weight yarn, or if you would like to use a different ply then I also explain how to make it made it measure. It’s a great speedy little project which hooks up quickly! I have split the pattern into individual sizes when you reach the sleeves and adding length to the body as each size ends on a different row and we want the stitch pattern to continue throughout. I look forward to seeing everyone’s version of The Kids Textured Hexi.

Notes
• Ch3 counts as a stitch.
• Ch1 does not count as a st.
• Turn your work after every row on the hexagons.
• The hexagons do not lay flat until they have been folded for assembly.
• If using scraps , I make both diamond panels at the same time so you can easily work out if you have enough yarn for both panels.
• Weave in ends as you go! Then you barely notice them.
