heya!! the pattern is mostly inspired on yt from @lilthingsworld
the swiss roll and whipped cream dollop was from one of her tutorials!
my next inspiration was from @yunqicrochets (on this app), and the mini strawberry on top of the whipped cream dollop was from their dessert bunnies pattern =]

i want to say
although this pattern is beginner-friendly, assembling it WILL require a lot of glue if you don't intend to sew, ESPECIALLY on the face and attaching the cream filling and sponge cake layer. i also made some errors while attaching the face :')

the design is inspired by an image of pusheen the cat as a swiss roll

i will give you permission to sell the swiss roll, but don't forget to credit me ^^ but please do not repost this pattern even with credit

i apologize if the pattern is a bit confusing b/c im not good at explaining stuff :P

*note: this pattern is in usa terminology

Yarns

pink: this yarn is used for the sponge cake layer and cat ears

it can be in any color, i just used pink b/c of an actual pusheen image with pusheen as a strawberry-flavored swiss roll

cream: this yarn is used for the cream filling and whipped cream dollop

cherry red: this yarn is used for the strawberry (that doesn‘t even LOOK LIKE a strawberry) on top of the whipped cream dollop

Hooks

the hook that i used is 2mm, i recommend a 3mm or a 3.5mm hook

i chose 2mm bc i want my stitches to be tighter

Needles

the darning needle that i typically use has a height of approximately 5.9cm and a length of 0.1cm

i only used it to weave in ends

Fabrics

i used felt for the face

pink felt (or any other color that is slightly darker than the yarn used for the sponge cake): head pattern

brown/black felt: eyes, mouth, whiskers

Tools

glue (optional but i highly recommend using it to save time)

it is used for assembling the pieces together =]

stitch marker (again, it‘s optional, but i highly recommend using it if you lose count of your stitches easily)
