This is a beginner friendly pattern that is perfect for practicing a range of stitches!

All of the stitches included in this pattern are made up of the 'basic stitches'. These basic stitches are as follows...
* knit (k): insert right needle into the first loop on the left needle from front to back and from left to right, wrap the working yarn around the needle anti-clockwise, draw the loop through the stitch, slide the right needle to the right until the loop on the left needle slips off the end

* purl (p): insert right needle into the first loop on the left needle from back to front and from right to left, wrap the working yarn around the needle anti-clockwise, draw the loop through the stitch, slide the right needle to the right until the loop on the left needle slips off the end.
