This is a snowman worked on the knitting machine. You need a large circular knitting machine (40, 46 or 48 pin). A smaller one for the scarf is optional. The eyes, buttons, hair are all crochet, and if u don't have a 22 pin knitting machine, the nose can also be crocheted. The pattern was designed for fluffy yarn, so it does not double up. If you are using normal yarn, double the rows and double it up. He has optional clothing that can be taken on and off. You can position the hair however you want. Using different size yarn for the crochet parts may change the look of the finished product. I used 10 ply yarn for the normal yarn parts and chunky yarn (super bulky 6) for the eyes and buttons.
