Description
The Knotted Mesh Headband is the perfect spring/summer accessory AND stashbuster pattern! It is a quick make, so you can make yourself a bunch in different colors or give them away as gifts.
The mesh fabric keeps your head cool and also gives the headband a better drape, so it doesn’t bunch up under your hair. Wear it with the knot up top, or put the knot in the back and show off the mesh for more of a kerchief look. No matter how you choose to wear it, the Knotted Mesh Headband is a cute and comfy accessory!
I recommend a soft cotton or cotton blend for this project to ensure that it is cool and comfortable and has a good drape. I think this pattern can easily be tackled by an advanced beginner. It uses only sc, hdc, and chains.
As written, this headband fits a small/medium women’s head (21-22.5” circumference). It is very easy to adjust the circumference, and I include instructions for that in the pattern.
