This granny square design came about after one Saturday night "croodling" (aka crochet doodling) in front of Netflix.

I have dedicated this design to my grandmother ("Nan") whom I miss daily and was my inspiration for crocheting. I have made this a free pattern in honour of her and Granny Square Day 2022.

This colour scheme is a little outside my norm, but I think we can all afford to be experimental with colour. You never know what brilliant work you might create with an adventurous spirit!

I have used Hobbi Rainbow cotton 8/4, but this design lends itself to any preferred yarn. Like all granny squares, it is a great stashbuster project!

I hope you enjoy this pattern. I have the intention of creating a companion square to go in tandem with this one to make a larger scale blanket, but make no promises...
