Description
The Laramie Beanie is a simple hat knit in the round from bottom up and fits adults with a head circumference of 21-22 inches
This pattern is meant to use only one hank of Malabrigo Rasta
The colorway used in this pattern was Cucumber (708)
I knit fairly tight so the suggested needle size may need to be decreased for many knitters!
Looser/relaxed tension knitters may find it better to use 8mm and 9mm needles in place of the suggested size below
You can use this pattern with any Super Bulky weight yarn but since Rasta yarn is single ply, any different ply of yarn will slightly change the texture and look of the hat
Materials Needed
-Malabrigo Rasta yarn - 90yds/150g OR any Super Bulky weight yarn
-9mm 16 inch circular needles
-10mm 16 inch circular needles (or whatever size to meet gauge)
-10mm DPNs or a 40in cable to use magic loop method
-Darning needle
-Optional pompom to place on hat when finished
