Description
I used velvet yarn to create the bear
The bear consists of 5 parts: 2 arms, 2 ears and the body/head. I used size 4 yarn and a 4.5mm crochet hook.
Approximate time to create: 3-4h
Size: 29cm tall
Stitch terms: US
CUSTOMISATION IDEAS: ----------------------------------------------------------------
EARS: this pattern is for a bear, but you can easily make different ears to create a frog, cat, bunny or other animal in the same style.
EXPRESSION: you can also choose a different expression, or use plastic eyes instead. I sewed on the eyes to be more comfortable.
BLUSH: you can also add blush to the cheeks or inside of the ear, which looks very cute.
PANTS: if you want it to look like th bear is wearing pants, try starting the legs with the fur colour (for feet), then switching to a pant colour for the rest of the legs. Then also use the pants colour for the next few rows of the body, before switching back to the fur colour.
