Description
Hello, and thank you so much for purchasing this pattern! Inspired by '70s crochet fashion, this groovy top can be a great look for music festivals, the beach, or paired with some high-waisted wide pants for a stroll around town. This pattern uses simple granny square techniques, like 3dc granny clusters, and working in the round, so this is perfect for someone just starting to crochet! The pattern will show you in detail how to completely customize the length and width, so no two projects will look the same - you could make a crop top, or make it long enough to make a dress! This pattern will show you how to make this top in three ways: as a sleeveless vest, as a 3/4 sleeve top, or as a bell sleeve flare top.

I used autumn-inspired colors on the example top, but you can use any number of colors that you like (although, I recommend using at least 2 colors for the granny square design to show). This pattern uses US crochet terms and inches, but Ribblr has automatic conversions to UK terms and cm.

I really hope you have fun crafting this groovy top, and that you enjoy the pattern! If you post your projects based on the pattern on Instagram, feel free to tag me (@rollingyarncrochet), I'd love to see what people make! :)
