This lighthouse will guide your way even in the stormiest of seasons. Sit down, relax and crochet up this beautiful lighthouse that would look fantastic in any beach themed room, or be a great toy for a child. This is a fairly simple amigurumi project but includes some of the staples of amigurumi such as invisible decreases, working into front and back loops and simple embroidery.

This is a beginner level pattern, although knowledge of how to do basic crochet stitches is required.

Using the materials suggested this lighthouse measures 20cm (8in) tall. Any yarn can be used with this pattern with an appropriate size crochet hook to create a tight tension, although other yarns may affect the size of the finished lighthouse. Suggested materials: DK (8ply) 100% cotton yarn, 2.5mm crochet hook and toy stuffing.
