Following the passing of Queen Elizabeth II. This item has been named after Queen Elizabeth II and is quick to make and easy to make. (Takes less than two hours and takes one full skein of yarn making it a perfect last-minute gift).
This moss stitch crochet pattern is a great crochet hat pattern perfect for beginners and experts alike. Three sizes available, adult small, medium and large hat.
Ch 1 at the beginning of the row for the ribbing does not count as a stitch.
The beanie is designed to be a little slouchy, but it is easily adjustable to make it fitted.
Approx. finished dimensions: Circumference: 18" Height: 8.5" adult size small
You can easily adjust the height of this pattern by increasing or decreasing the number of rounds.
Please feel free to substitute any other yarn you love. Keep in mind that you will need to make a gauge swatch, and possibly go up or down a hook size depending on your yarn choice.
