Description
This luxurious towel, knit in crisp, sport-weight cotton with chic Linen Stitch, can play a myriad of roles in your home: work it up as a guest towel, fingertip towel, hand towel, tea towel, placemat, table runner, or washcloth or dishcloth. The towel is knit simply in Linen Stitch, then stitches are picked up and worked on both sides to create the eyelets and linen stitch borders. Finally, the same clever border technique is applied on both ends.
This towel would look lovely in nearly any yarn: solids, heathers, flecks, short color changes or long color runs. Try a mercerized cotton for an even finer hand and drape.
