Liv's Butterfly Top is a fun knit project for warmer days. Since I often experience that fluttery feeling of butterflies in my stomach, I just turned it into a little knitted piece of art!
It is a simple tube top knitted bottom-up in the round without increases and features a butterfly cutout on the stomach section. This is also a gentle ease into lace knitting as you will follow a lace chart to create the butterflies. Furthermore, the single butterfly stitch is explained in the beginning of the pattern so you could incorporate it in your swatch. The straps are worked flat by picking up stitches in the front, working in 1/1 rib stitch to reach the desired length and then attaching the strap in the back.
