These shoelaces can be a colorful way to jazz up some ho-hum sneakers and use up some scrap yarn at the same time. You can whip up a pair in no time and have fun trying all color combinations. If you crochet with a very tight tension and you have wanted to practice loosening up, this might be the perfect time to try. Loose tension is the key here. But don't stop at shoelaces, use the pattern to make hair ties, draw strings or anything that requires a cord with some pizzazz.
