Hello friends! I've written this digital pattern so that you can crochet your own Lucky Snake, inspired by the Year of the Snake which is the Chinese zodiac for 2025.

You can attach a keyring onto it to turn it into a keychain or a bag charm, or you can use plush yarn to make your own snake plushie :)

I advise you read through the entire pattern before you start crocheting (no harm in planning ahead!). You can use a stitch marker to mark the start/end of each round when working in continuous rounds. The body will be using the [slst, ch1] join at the start/end of each round so that the belly pattern stays nice and straight.
