Maya was always an energetic child.
When all her friends played with dolls, she preferred to play outside. She enjoyed running and jumping from high places – quite a little daredevil.
When she got older, she started to show interest in developing her flexibility, so her mom sent her to the local Gymnastic group, and she fell in love with it immediately. Maya is training hard every day to achieve her goal to win the Olympics.
This is a wired doll is modeled after my sister Maya. The doll is completely flexible - the legs are attached to the body with a button joint so they can move freely. The body is crocheted from the waist to the top of the head as one piece and the arms are joined to the body by crochet and not sewing.
