May Flower is a crew length sock, knitted from cuff to toe. It has a big flower on the cuff and small ones, and a cable on the foot. It's a perfect summer sock!

Majblomman (Swedish, 'Mayflower') is a traditional Swedish charity pin sold by
schoolchildren in AprilMay every year since 1907, originally to collect money for people suffering from tuberculosis. Nowadays the charity helps deprived children, raises awareness of child rights and it is sold in Sweden, Finland, Norway and Estonia.

Majblomma is of different color every year, and the colors are chosen by children.
I wanted to honor the tradition by making my own Majblomma socks. I used to love those small plastic flowers!
