Description

This pattern makes a plush and wide scarf that's really sturdy. I recommend using Lion Brand Heartland for softness and texture. Hand washing and air drying is recommended to preserve the scarf longer.

Techniques used: Knit, Purl, Slipping stitches purlwise with yarn in front and back

The finished measurements should be around 8 inches wide and 60 inches long.

Gauge is not needed for this pattern.

Disclaimer: This is a pretty time-consuming project that took me 6 weeks to knit, but it was well worth my time. My whole family loves the scarf I made from this pattern.

Any Worsted/Medium #4 weight yarn {I used
roughly 2 1/2 skeins of Lion Brand Heartland in Sequoia, but I recommend using 4 skeins, which is 1004 yards total.} This is so you can use two skeins pulling from the outside strands instead of using one and pulling from the center. ( 2 strands held as 1 )

Needles

5.5 mm (straight) knitting needles (at least 9 inches long)
