Description

This delightful two in one pattern includes instructions for the kitty mermaid/purrmaid and the beautiful mermaid with loopy hair!
Designed to stand on its own this bottom up low sew design works up quickly. You do need to sew on the tail, fin and bows or starfish. Even the hair is done right onto the top of the head in front loops you will create in the round.

The possibilities are endless! Use your imagination to create your own masterpiece! When I first published this kitty mermaid pattern in October of 2020 on Ravelry, it was done in worsted only. This is an updated version to include plush yarns and is a little bit easier than the original version, plus it includes kitty's mermaid friend!

...black mercerized cotton works great for whiskers and eyelashes

Hooks

...I use a 6 mm hook for this size of yarn but I have very tight tension. Use whichever size hook for stitches tight enough so there are no holes for stuffing to show through and what is comfortable for you.
