Description
This ballerina bunny amigurumi pattern is so close to my heart. It was the very first pattern I ever wrote, created especially for my daughter when she was just 4 years old. In all the photos you will see her proudly holding the bunny that has been her constant companion ever since. Now, at 7 years old, it's still by her side.
This project is a joy to make and works up quickly if you're familiar with amigurumi crochet. Using a 3mm hook, the bunny measures around 30 cm tall when finished. I used Vinnis Colors Nikkim 100% Cotton yarn.
About Mila
Mila has 2 head patterns for you to choose from.
Arms are crocheted onto the body.
Sew on ears before embroidering eyes.
When embroidering Mila's eyes and nose: Fill the Shape with Satin Stitch. Stitch side-by-side rows to fill in the space smoothly. Keep the stitches snug and even to create a soft satin texture. DON'T PULL TOO HARD.
Embroidery can be hard, but practice makes perfect.
Tail is just a pompom tied to the back right above the tutu.
.....
I've poured so much love into this pattern and included step-by-step instructions to guide you. I hope this bunny becomes as special to you (or the little one you're making it for) as it has been to us.
Happy crocheting!
