Description
The Milkshake Tank Top is simple yet stylish with a reversible design and garter stitch detailing at the sides and edges! This piece is great for layering so can be worn all year round. I've included a copy of the original PDF in this knitting pattern :)
The front/back feature some vertical intarsia to create two different coloured halves but can be worked in just one colour if you aren’t comfortable with intarsia. If you do choose to use intarsia this is great as a stash busting project if you’ve got yarn left over that’s not quite enough for an entire top but is enough for 1/4 of one!
The Milkshake Tank is worked flat from the bottom up in two identical panels (front/back). The shoulders are joined using a three needle bind off, then the sides are seamed together. This top knits up quickly and is a great introduction to intarsia if you haven’t tried it before! Useful links to help with new techniques are included.
This pattern is written for 12 sizes ranging from a 66 cm to 159 cm chest. For more details see the size chart and images provided in the measurement section. The length is completely adjustable so you can make this as long or cropped as you like - details on how to make adjustments are included in the pattern.
